Since the 2024/25 season the Champions League uses a single league phase of 36 teams instead of the old eight groups. Every club plays eight matches, four at home and four away, against eight different opponents, and all 36 teams are ranked in one combined table.

The top eight teams in the league phase go straight through to the round of 16. The teams finishing 9th to 24th enter a two-legged knockout play-off round to claim the remaining round-of-16 places. Clubs finishing 25th to 36th are eliminated.
Our AI model combines recent form, expected goals (xG), head-to-head history and squad strength to produce a win probability and a projected scoreline for every fixture. Predictions update as kickoff approaches, and you can follow our full track record of correct calls on the site.
This page shows the live Champions League league-phase table, upcoming fixtures, recent results and the top scorers, all updated automatically throughout the season.
The final is a single match played at a neutral stadium at the end of the season, usually in late May or early June. The full fixture list with kickoff times appears on this page once the draw is complete.
