The chance both teams score in each of today's matches, worked out from what each side has been scoring and what their opponent has been conceding. Every row shows those goals per match, so you can see where the number comes from instead of taking our word for it. Projections for context, not betting tips.

How the number is built

For each side we average what they score with what the opponent concedes, which gives an expected goals figure for this particular match. From that figure comes the chance that side scores at least once, and multiplying the two chances gives the chance both do. It is the standard Poisson treatment of football goals, and it is honest about its own limits: it assumes the two scores are independent, when in reality a team chasing a goal concedes more.

So read 70% as "goals at both ends is the likely shape of this match", and anything near 50% as a coin toss with extra steps. Where recent form is missing or too thin to mean anything, the match is left out rather than filled with a guess.

What does BTTS mean?

Both teams to score: a match where each side finds the net at least once. A 2-1 is BTTS, a 3-0 is not.

How is the both-teams-to-score probability calculated?

For each side we take what they have been scoring and what their opponent has been conceding over recent matches, average the two into an expected goals figure, and read off the chance of at least one goal. Multiplying the two gives the chance both score. Every row shows those goals-per-match numbers so the figure can be checked.

Why do some matches show no percentage?

Because the recent form behind it is missing or too thin. A number built on one match is an anecdote, not form, so we leave it out rather than dress it up.
